“Startup Vikes opened doors for me.”
Matthew Thompson decided to go to Startup Vikes because he had been to other entrepreneurial events in Cleveland but didn’t expect to learn skills in team building, presentation/public speaking and coaching.
“The networking is invaluable – Startup Vikes really opened doors for me,” said Matthew. “I am still in contact with my team.”
“Team building helped me to decide what was best and to refine Bind,” added Matthew. “The different viewpoints that Startup Vikes provided – and the team – is why I say the networking is invaluable. I can call upon my team members and they can call on me to share ideas and provide honest feedback.”
Matthew is currently a student at Hiram University, majoring in art, minoring in entrepreneurship and on schedule to graduate in 2017. He first heard of Startup Vikes through the entrepreneurship faculty at Hiram and decided to attend the event as a result of their recommendation.
Matthew is glad he did. As a result of Startup Vikes, Bind obtained its LLC and Matthew is seeking software developers who are looking to partner in further creation of his concept. He expects to move his product into the next phase of development by Summer 2016.
