Brandyn Armstrong, is the founder and CEO of Studio Stick, the world’s first portable recording studio for smartphones. He is a musician and has been recording music professionally for over 10 years. In 2015, as a student at Cleveland State University, Brandyn successfully competed in Startup Vikes, a student entrepreneurship competition and earned his first round of business capital. He most recently participated in the JumpStart Core City Cleveland Impact program, received an innovation grant from GLIDE innovation fund and has been featured on Steve Harveys Funderdome, CBS, NBC, WKYC, CNBC, magazines, and more. Prior to the Studio Stick, Brandyn’s outlook on education was not so optimistic, which resulted in him dropping out of high school. Knowing he wanted better in life, he obtained his GED and then graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with two associate degrees. Brandyn says that he plans on changing the world one day and this is only the beginning.

Pat Grospiron
Partner, Network Management

Pat manages the day-to-day operation of the Northeast Ohio Entrepreneurial Signature Program (NEO ESP). She works with our 13 collaborators across the region to manage the deal flow process, metrics and performance. In addition, she works with regional partners and communities as they embed entrepreneurial activities in their economic development plans—from grassroots events to the implementation of hyper-local investment funds to the creation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Pat has over 20 years of working experience, including her work at the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI), where she managed several federal, state-funded or self-funded programs which were always multi-disciplinary, multi-organization complex R&D or commercialization projects. Pat is experienced in all phases of program management, including business development, team formation, proposal support, program execution (contract administration, reporting close‐out) and cultivating customer relationships.

She received her MBA from Cleveland State University and also holds a Master’s Degree from the Graduate Business School ESC Clermont-Ferrand, France. She is a graduate of Cleveland Bridge Builders, Class of 2012 and now serves on the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Leadership Council as the Chair of the Next Gen Committee.

Teresa Hack

Teresa Hack is President and Chief Operating Officer of Channel Products, a privately held, Cleveland-based manufacturer of component systems and technologies for the gas appliance industry and a sought-after supplier of high-tech materials for the piezoelectric and piezo-ceramic industries.

In addition to her management of Channel Products, Ms. Hack has earned a following as a speaker on issues of leadership, personal development, and business culture.  An accomplished business executive, she serves on the Board of Directors for one of the nation’s leading retailers of outdoor furnishings and on the Visiting Committee of Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business.

Ms. Hack’s most recent honors include recognition of Channel Products as a “2016 Evolution in Manufacturing” award recipient and her own inclusion as a Smart Business Magazine “2016 Progressive Woman” honoree.

Ms. Hack volunteers for a range of non-profit and civic organizations, including international travel for hurricane relief.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Organizational Leadership degree.

With a passion for seeing people develop and thrive, Teresa lives by the mantra of leading and motivating people and managing processes.  She believes that hiring, equipping, empowering, and developing intelligent human capital is key to continual success in any organization.

Shannon Lyons

Shannon is an entrepreneur, startup mentor, and angel investor. She became an entrepreneur in 2007, when she founded Innovatree, an innovation and strategy consulting firm, serving Fortune 500 companies. Shannon has run six accelerator programs since 2012, and was influential in pioneering the first for-profit Accelerator partnership with NASA in order to discover alternative methodologies for technology commercialization. Shannon holds a Masters of Organizational Development & Analysis from Case Western Reserve University (2009) and is a doctoral candidate at Cleveland State University.

Cleveland industrialist and serial entrepreneur Dan Moore has been starting up businesses as President of the Dan T. Moore Co. since 1979. He currently serves as chairman of eight companies, each with its own proprietary edge, including Flow Polymers, Inc.; Soundwich, Inc.; Team Wendy LLC; Impact Armor Technologies LLC; Sleep Optima LLC; Tennesee Iron Products, LLC; Polyfill, LLC; and NatGasCar, LLC. He serves as director of Hawk Corporation (AMEX), Cleveland, Ohio, Park-Ohio Holdings Corp (NASDAQ), Cleveland, Ohio, and Invacare Corporation (NYSE), Elyria, Ohio.

Mr. Moore has penned a blog about his motorcycle travels (the Silk Road, and most recently, the Continental Divide). When not traveling, Dan finds time to ski and sail and serve as a Trustee of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University School, the Wendy Park Foundation, and Cleveland State University. He holds 53 patents and degrees from Trinity College and the Harvard Business School. He has won numerous awards and honors.
