 As a finance professional, Chris has extensive experience with cash flow modeling, financial statement analysis, and presentation of complex financial matters to C-Suite executives.  Most recently, Chris was Director of Corporate FP&A for a Fortune 500 public company.  In this role, he was
responsible for monthly management reporting, quarterly earnings and Board reporting, annual planning and quarterly forecasting, as well as various ad-hoc corporate finance projects – often working directly with the CFO and CEO.

Lynn works at the Small Business Development Center, as a graduate assistant performing research and office coordination. She enjoys working with others and engaging in problem solving. James Deiotte, CPA, CMA, JD and MBA, two-time Cleveland State University College of Business alumnus (BBS Accounting in 1980 and MBA in 1984) and recently retired partner of EY. Jim has been an ambassador for EY throughout his career working closely with many of the largest companies in the world, a variety of U.S. governmental agencies and EY colleagues in over 50 countries. Jim most recently served as EY’s Regional Tax Leader of Africa and was on EY’s EMEIA and Global
Tax Leadership teams. Jim was responsible for driving the localization of
capabilities and independence of EY tax operations in Sub-Saharan Africa,
spanning more than 30 countries. He may be one of the most traveled alumni from Cleveland State University, having previously led EY’s Central and Eastern European Compliance and Reporting practice.

Anthony was a winner of Startup Vikes in 2015 with his company, PuppyMatch. In a year and a half of business he successfully matched 49 families and revenue exceeded $100,000. In 2017 he decided to focus on completing his degree and paused business operations. He then completed a 9 month internship with the Veale Entrepreneurship Forum, an
organization committed to supporting high school entrepreneurship in
Northeast Ohio. Anthony graduated in December with his bachelors in Finance and is currently an accountant at MAI Capital Management.

Dr. Roncagli has been a lecturer with the Department of Finance at CSU since Fall 2011. Prior to that, he spend 30 years in the software industry working for firms like Hyland Software, Rockwell Automation, Sensormatic
Electronics, Digital Equipment Corporation and Thorn Automated Systems. He has also worked for several startup firms, one of which was an IT consulting firm he founded with two partners in the early years of his career. Working with small startup firms established his interest in how small firms make their financing and investment decisions, which was the subject of his doctoral dissertation. Dr. Roncagli teaches courses in Corporate Finance, International Finance and Financial Markets and Institutions. He has maintained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 1998.

Rachel is a marketing communications professional with expertise in branding, media relations, content marketing, and marketing strategy. She’s worked in a variety of account management roles at different agencies and marketing vendors with a focus on retail and consumer brands.  She currently works as a Marketing Communications Manager at Speedeon Data, a databased marketing firm in Cleveland, where she’s responsible for driving the implementation of all marketing content. Andrew Balazs is Manager of Data Centers and Disaster Recovery at University Hospitals of Cleveland.  He is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery for the Company’s Data Centers and Disaster Recovery.  

Prior to University Hospitals Mr. Balazs spent more than 25 years of experience in Medical Mutual’ s systems division, responsible for data center management, hardware/software acquisition and
management, distributed system hardware and software, desktop hardware and software, voice and data networks, Helpdesk, and SLA management. 

From fall 1993 until spring 1994, Mr. Balazs was a loaned executive, serving as Interim Director of Technology for the Cleveland Board of Education.  Working with the school system, he reorganized its Information Services division to consolidate five IS facilities into one and thus reduce expenditures by 20 percent.  In recognition of his work with the school board, Medical Mutual awarded Mr. Balazs its Chairman’s Sentinel Award.  Before joining Medical Mutual in 1986, Mr. Balazs worked
for Sherwin Williams. 

Mr. Balazs earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Quantitative Business Analysis from Cleveland State University in 1980 and a Master in Business Administration degree also from CSU in 1990.

Mr Balazs is currently serving on the Visiting Committee at Cleveland States Ahuja College of Business and servers on the Graduate school’s curriculum committee. He is also a member of the Technology Steering committee for the National M.S Society.

Kyle has over 13 years of experience building software and teaching others. For the last five years, his career as an independent consultant and Agile Engineering Coach with LeanDog has focused on helping teams level up their coding practices and collaborative skills within medium to large enterprises. 

He is a polyglot developer who passionately believes in using the right tool for the right job. As such, he has professional experience working in numerous different tech stacks including .NET (Desktop & Web), Ruby, Node, and more JavaScript frameworks than you could shake a stick at.

In the community,
Kyle has volunteered teaching about coding at events like RailsBridge,
NodeSchool, the Great Lakes Science Center, and to elementary school students. He’s led meetup groups, won the Cleveland Medical
Hackathon, and he’s a frequent speaker at software conferences and a number of local meetup groups.

 In 2017, Kyle was nominated to be the Conductor of the Ohio StartupBus,
a volunteer role in which he led 30 entrepreneurs and developers in a cross country entrepreneurial immersion that culminated in a Shark Tank style competition against other cities from across North America.

Michael Goldberg

Michael Goldberg is an experienced venture capitalist and international business leader whose teaching is focused on the fields of entrepreneurship and early stage finance. Goldberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design and Innovation at the Weatherhead School of Management. With support from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, Goldberg created a massive open online course (MOOC) called Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies, which has attracted over 135,000 students from 190 countries with subtitles in 16 languages (most on Coursera platform). named Beyond Silicon Valley one of the top online classes that “will make you smarter and more interesting.” 

Goldberg co-founded the Bridge Investment Fund, a venture capital fund focused on investing in Israeli medical device companies that have synergies with the leading health care industries and institutions in Cleveland. 

Goldberg is active in the entrepreneurship community in Cleveland, serving as a mentor to entrepreneurs through Jumpstart and FlashStarts. He
has appeared as a frequent guest panelist on MSNBC’s “Your Business” and written on international entrepreneurship for CNBC, and The Huffington Post.

 Goldberg earned a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, MA in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew Iorio

Matthew is a champion of the start-up community in Cleveland. Currently, he works at Neuros Medical Inc., a neuromodulation company developing an implantable medical device focused on the elimination of chronic pain in lower limb amputees. At Neuros, Matthew is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of clinical research processes, guidelines, tools, and their implementation. He also manages day-to-day clinical trial execution, including clinical site support, data collection and analysis, and clinical materials logistics. Joshua Koszewski is an aspiring entrepreneur and an MBA student at Cleveland State University. He is a U.S. Army Sniper Vet and served two deployments overseas. After completing his service, Joshua received his B.A. from Cleveland State University where he majored in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
Throughout his undergrad, he worked several co-ops and in his free time
developed his idea for a startup. Joshua is now guiding that startup through
